supervision with tegan

I offer professional supervision for Social Workers, Counsellors, and Psychotherapists, creating a reflective and collaborative space where practitioners can deepen their clinical practice, strengthen their professional identity, and sustain themselves in the work. With more than a decade of experience providing supervision to both individuals and groups across a range of settings, I bring an experienced, relational, and thoughtful approach to supervision.

My supervision style is grounded in curiosity, reflection, and genuine dialogue. I aim to provide a supportive environment that also invites thoughtful challenge, helping practitioners explore both their clients' experiences and their own responses within the therapeutic relationship. Together, we attend to what emerges in the work—the relational dynamics, emotional responses, ethical complexities, and broader contextual influences—to develop greater awareness, confidence, and clinical insight.

Drawing on Gestalt principles, I often work experientially, using awareness-based and experiential methodologies to bring clinical material to life. Rather than only talking about a case, we may explore it through the Gestalt experiment—an invitation to notice, embody, and investigate aspects of the therapeutic relationship as they unfold in the supervision space. These experiments offer opportunities for fresh insight, increased awareness, and new possibilities for practice.

I offer supervision both in person and online, individually and in groups.

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, supervision offers an opportunity to deepen your practice, reconnect with your values, and continue growing as a reflective and ethical practitioner.
