TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

I design and facilitate workshops and professional training that invite participants to think deeply, engage actively, and translate learning into meaningful practice. My work spans the mental health, psychotherapy, social work, and arts sectors, and is grounded in the belief that the most transformative learning happens through experience, reflection, and authentic dialogue.

Over the past decade I have developed and delivered training on a broad range of topics. Most recently these include:

Previously I have also provided training on a range of youth mental health topics for community and youth mental health organisations.

My facilitation style is collaborative, relational, curious, and engaging. Drawing on Gestalt Psychotherapy principles, I use experiential learning methods that encourage participants to move beyond simply acquiring knowledge towards developing greater self-awareness, critical reflection, and confidence in their practice. Workshops often combine discussion, reflective exercises, embodied experiential activities, and opportunities for dialogue, allowing participants to connect theory with their own lived and professional experience.

I aim to create a learning environment that feels safe enough for participants to explore new ideas, take thoughtful risks, and learn from one another. I am interested in supporting both individual and collective learning, helping groups recognise their strengths while gently leaning into the growing edges that foster greater awareness, ethical practice, and meaningful change.

I am available to develop and deliver tailored workshops for organisations, teams, and professional groups, and enjoy collaborating with organisations to create training that responds to their unique context, needs, and aspirations.

My areas of passion for teaching are:

  • Building reflective practice

  • Mental health in the global context of colonisation, capitalism, white supremacy and patriarchy

  • Applied ethics in the context of both relational and structural issues

  • Applied social justice and inclusion in professional/helping/healing relationships.
